I wish I was a Fairy...

I've changed the look on my blog. I love polkadots, and I love this free background by TheCutestBlogOnTheBlock.com! I made a new card today. This stamp is by Crafty Individuals. Isn't it beautiful? I wish I was a fairy... I should have used the camera instead of the scanner. It has Glimmer Mist all over the flowers and leaves, but that doesn't scan well. The coloring was done using Distress Ink on glossy paper.

Finally Friday!

The weekend's here! I've got new papers, new stamps, great music playing, candles on my worktable, and a glass of red wine. I'm ready to create!

Here's a card I made some days ago. I can't stop ooooh'ing and aaaah'ing over the Whiff of Joy-stamps... I know - I've already said it - they are so adorable!!!!

Eviledna, Tim Holtz' paper distresser is what I use too. I usually ink the edge first, then i distress it with the tool. I've found that the edge won't crumble that much if it's a bit wet with ink.
Thanks a lot for the awards I sometimes receive too! I will give them on to others one of these days.
