Still not much time for cardmaking, but I couldn't resist making this one with Edwin - the cutest santa ever, don't you think? All stamps by Magnolia. Letters cut with Cricut. Coloring done using Pantone's Tria-pens (Promarkers) and Derwent Pencils. Embossed snowflakes, and white gel-roller.

Cards from my class today

I had a class on christmas cards using Magnolia-stamps at Steffens (my LSS and also my employer) today. We made two of these cards, and a gift-tag. So much fun hosting classes. I love to meet all the nice fellow stampers out there :-)

Twinkle, twinkle little Star

A real twinkling Tilda, in Sonja Henie's footsteps. She has everything needed to be a star! Painted with Twinkling H2O by LuminArte, and plenty of Stickles (glitter-glue) by Ranger. Mounted on patterned paper with glitter details. All stamps from Magnolia, off course!

It's been too long...

...since I last updated this blog! Time really flies!

I've got a bunch of wonderful, new stamps from Magnolia. They are all so gorgeous, I didn't even know how to decide wich ones to try out first.

Here's a card I made yesterday. I've started working on more, and I need to do the final touches on them tonight, before I can scan them.

Also, EllenK gave me this award. How nice is that?! :-)
I'm supposed to give it on to ten people that inspire me and make me smile. That's a difficult one, because there are sooo many of you!!
All of you that reads and comments on my blog, inspire me to make and upload new cards, and every time I get uplifting comments it makes me smile. That's why I will give this on to all of you who has given me such comments.
Thanks for stopping by!

All About Christmas

Thanks again folks, for all your wonderful comments! I feel so bad for never taking the time to really browse all the inspiring blogs out there, and being so sloppy with leaving feedback myself. I hereby promise to take some time for this the upcoming weekend. Life's just been too crazy lately.

As you can see, I'm all christmas lately. Working in a scrapping-/stamping-/craftstore, christmas season are really starting these days. I've been thinking only christmas since September 1. I just hope my christmas spirit will stay strong till Desember 25. at least.

I think I'll manage, especially with cute christmas Tildas and Edwins helping me along.

Did she paint her house?

Yesterday it was red, today it's blue. And it is just as pretty that way! Tilda is taking a walk in the blue hour.

Oh, and did you notice? I've added a slideshow to my blog. Isn't it cool? I will do something about the design on this blog, I promise. I know it looks kind of boring as it is.

New Christmas Stamps

You really need to check out all the new, lovely christmas stamps from Magnolia, if you haven't allready. I just love Tilda's new house. And how fun to have the day off from work, and spend it at home with my new stamps!

Knowledge is power (Ipsa Scientia Potestas Est)

Wise words from Sir Francis Bacon, there. And so appropriate on a bookmark, don't you think? Oh, these stamps - the awesome, cool and wise-looking owl on the stack of books - I'm in love (Stamps from Magnolia, off course!). Someone's getting books and bookmarks for christmas this year!

Blue, blue blueberries!

I want some blueberries! Don't you just love this cute Tilda-stamp? These are also some of the new stamps for this fall from Magnolia. You can see more ideas with these stamps in Linda Muhren's blog (she's a great card-artist, and fellow DT-member for Magnolia).

I've been asked several times how I do the coloring on my cards. I always forget to answer in my posts, but here it comes:

I mostly use Distress Ink from Ranger. Here's how: Pad the inkpad against an acrylic block, or drip some distress ink refill on it. Then use a paintbrush and water to pick up the colors, and paint, like you're using ordinary watercolors. I also use watercolors sometimes, and Twinkling H2O from LuminArte (twinkling watercolors).

For my Norwegian readers: I've scheduled several classes this fall, most of them are almost fully booked, but there are still a few spots left. You can see more about this on Steffens, Hobby Norge.

Clearing something up...

Ok, autumn is really lovely in colors and everything, but how come I every fall get this terrible colds? Dd have been sick for nearly a week, and when she's finally well enough to send to daycare, then it's my turn. I've spent most of the day tucked in, in bed - with no energy at all.

But I really need to clear something up.. As I told you yesterday, Magnolia is releasing a bunch of wonderful stamps for the fall. I've used several on the card I showed you yesterday. And I'm sharing a new one today.

Which stamps will be in the stampclub-package, and which will be in the ordinary fall collection, I don't know (Allthough, I did hear rumours that Edwin with the Broom are a club-stamp (uhh.. I'm such a tattletale!))

Have a great day! I'm crawling back to bed.

This year's autumn-collection from Magnolia will make you feel much better about the summer being nearly over. :-)

Hi again! I'm back!
First of all, thanks a million for all the wonderful comments you have left me. That is just the best inspiration, when other people enjoys looking at what I've made. I understand that I have been tagged too, by several bloggers. That's a challenge, and I will look at them all.

Tonight I'll just post a few cards I've made the last few days. Having the day off from work today, I got to spend some hours with my dear stamps again. :-)

Remember when Rock was young?

...I don't.. I'm old, but still not old enough.
But Edwin here seems like he remembers something about it. Actually it reminds me of my dad when he was younger, and as a musician, I'm sure he would love this card. But this is for Magnolia's DT, so I might need to make a copy of it for dad's birthday next month.

More cards

Some cards I made tuesday. They didn't photograph perfect, but hopefully ok.

Rockabillies and a Tilda-card

I was so happy to win the card-competition on Minneriket.no with this card of Tilda sitting on the bench. The card with the Rockabillies came in number 3. Thank you to all who voted!

I made these cards for Magnolias DT. I've made several more, and I will photograph them later. Right now I'm flat out on the couch with some bug or something. Hopefully it will pass soon.

Stamps used:
Rockabillies: Tilda med volang, Tuffe Edwin, Scarf (SO07) by Magnolia. Paper from K&Company

Tilda on the bench: Bänk, Tuffa Tilda (SO07) Tildas Bin (SO-C07) by Magnolia, Paper by Basic Grey, Stella Ruby.

I found these in my mess...

Some cards laying around in my mess. They weren't completed, so I attached sentiments to them. Snickar Edwin (Edwin the carpenter) was the first Magnolia stamp I bought, and I think this was the first Magnolia-card I made. The other one with Edwin and Tilda (Vi Två) I made not so long ago. It's a really simple one - but the stamp is so cute.

Tilda by the Sea - Tilda ved Havet

I love this stamp of Tilda by the sea. It reminds me of a song I used to love when I was a little girl. It's called "Sønnavindsvalsen", and my norwegian readers will probably know it very well. It's about this girl talking to the summer wind, telling it to treat her well, and not to mess with her straw-hat and veil, her lace collar and the shoes with ribbon-bows, because she needs to look pretty for her boyfriend.

Magnolia stamps: "Tilda ved Havet" and "Drake". Cardstock by Bazzill Basics, patterned paper by Basic Grey (for the grass). Waves by Sissix.

A tiny Gift Box

This tiny gift box is made out of cardstock from Bazzill Basics. The stamps used are:

"Daisy", "Löv" and "Blompaket". All by Magnolia.

Welcome to the blog dedicated to my cards

Welcome to my blog dedicated to the cards I make - mainly with the wonderful, super cute stamps from the Swedish company Magnolia. I was so lucky to get chosen to be on their International Design Team, together with a handful of really talented ladies from around the world. I will add links to their blogs later on. Let me start this blog with a pic of one of the cards I submitted to Magnolia with my application.

Magnolia-stamps used on this card:
En hög med hjärtan, Milda Mathilda, Daisy, Löv, Staket, Rasmus, Drake.
Staz-On ink. Colorized with Distress Ink from Ranger.
